THE 80's DNA & POP NOIR

THE 80s DNA is a party series with which we do not reproduce nostalgia, but rather develop nostalgia further. THE 80s DNA always takes place on the last Saturday of the month at WERK°STADT. There are two floors and a consistent concept. Our playlist doesn't end in 1989, it's not the year a track was released that matters, but its essence. We play music that carries this unmistakable 80s DNA - regardless of whether it comes from the eighties or the present. The vibe defines the sound.

On April 25, 2026, we will dedicate ourselves to pop & wave DNA on the main floor. From Depeche Mode, The Cure and Talk Talk to modern heirs like The Weeknd or Editors. Classics meet new favorites. Retro meets the future. And it all fits together because it has the same DNA.

On the second floor, the motto is POP NOIR. Look forward to dark pop, electronic depth, iconic dark classics from the 80s and their modern heirs. Music with atmosphere and exactly the vision of the future that people dreamed of back in the eighties.

There will also be a 2 for 1 drinks special until 23:00, where you can get 2 beers for the price of one.
