About Kathrin:

Harpist and composer Kathrin Pechlof works at the interface of improvised and composed music and contemporary jazz. Her artistic practice draws on a variety of musical resources. She uses a wide range of extended playing techniques to develop her unique instrumental expression. As a composer she explores concepts and musical possibilities at the intersection of composed structures and improvisation, as an instrumentalist she has established herself in diverse collaborative contexts of contemporary creative music.
