THE bEAR Hamburg returns with its second show, exploring the theme of FREEDOM: Stories of escape, release, and possibilities.

What does freedom mean to you?

Maybe it's the moment you walked away from something that no longer served you. The breath you took after finally saying what you'd been holding back. The door that opened when you stopped pushing. Freedom can arrive as a grand escape or a quiet release-a weight lifted, a path cleared, a choice reclaimed. Perhaps you broke free from expectations, fear, or old versions of yourself. Maybe you found freedom in letting go, in saying yes, or in daring to say no. It might have come as liberation, rebellion, or simply permission to be. Whether your freedom was hard-won or stumbled upon, planned or spontaneous, we want to hear about that moment when the world expanded-when you realized you could choose differently, move freely, or simply breathe again.

How does this show work: Anyone who wants to tell a story puts their name in our legendary top hat. Eight names are drawn at random, and each chosen storyteller has just seven minutes-no notes, no props-only a true, personal story they've never shared at THE BEAR. The audience cheers them on, live music threads the night together, and the whole room becomes part of the story.
