The Disco Boys

A wild mix of disco classics and modern house songs from probably the most famous DJ duo of our time. Support: Support: Leo Yamane.

In 1995, in the age of techno and trance, they established a subgenre of house music in Hamburg, so-called disco house, by combining electronic house beats with classic disco grooves on the turntables. The journey took The Disco Boys through their own events, many singles, their own mix compilation series, all the well-known electronic music festivals and many foreign appearances, such as a mini-tour through China in 2005, which was rather unusual at the time.

Raphael Krickow and Gordon Hollenga's motto was never just DJ self-realization, but the mission to take people on a journey on a club night and make them dance to music they would never have danced to before.

What began in 1995 reached its first high point in 2005 with the platinum-selling hit "For You". It won them the "Best House Artist" audience award at the "Dance Music Awards" and in 2014 "For You" came 6th in SAT1's "Ultimate Chart Show" on the subject of "The most successful long-running hit of all time".
