Heal the World - A musical message full of love and confidence

"When voices speak to hearts, songs give hope and every note is a little prayer - then The Gospel People are not far away. With their "Heal the World" tour, they invite the audience on a journey full of emotion, faith and joie de vivre. "Our music has the power to open hearts, connect people and inspire real change," says Owen Nixon, frontman and arranger of the acclaimed US gospel group The Gospel People. With their rousing tour, they will bring pure joie de vivre to the stage in Munich on December 25!

The approximately two-hour program ranges from songs from the traditional "Black Gospel" from America to gospel inspired by jazz and soul to the current "Contemporary Gospel" with its rock, pop and rap elements. These include classics such as 'Stand by me' by US singer Ben E. King and the world-famous songs 'Amazing Grace', 'Oh happy Day' and 'Heal the World', a song by Michael Jackson, which also gave the 2025/2026 tour its name. The band will also perform their own compositions. Together with a stage performance tailored to the songs, this 2-hour evening event promises a real "goosebump feeling".

"The belief in the good and the will to lead our world into a better future is the motto of the upcoming concert tour entitled "Heal the World", says Owen Nixon. Especially in these times, when wars are real and human suffering is increasing every day, the courage to change and the confidence to succeed are needed. Nixon appeals: "Believe in peace and justice! Don't give hate a chance and make this world a better world - we must all really want it!"

The gospel group around artistic director, frontman and arranger Owen Nixon finds it easy to inspire their audience. A stage show with almost extatic dance interludes - paired with ensemble scenes and impressive solo performances - brings the audience to the boil. The passion of the stage performers and the unique charisma of their "head" Owen Nixon guarantee an unforgettably emotional evening. Owen Nixon: "We are on fire for our message - "the Good News". With this motivation, the gospel artists want to literally liberate this world from hatred, envy and resentment - and in doing so, focus on love, faith and confidence.
