The Harlem Gospel Singers

With their first performances over 30 years ago, they started a veritable gospel wave in Europe. The majestically flowing, multi-colored, silken robes, the powerful choir of carefully selected wonderful solo voices, the excellent musicians on organ, piano, drums, bass and saxophone: the vibrant New York district of Harlem was the inspiration for the founding of the Harlem Gospel Singers in the early 1990s. And so their typical contemporary, modern, unmistakable sound is also the result of virtuoso musical excursions into the blues and jazz genres. The Harlem Gospel Singers are celebrated all over the world without fear of cross-genre influences.

With their unmistakable sound, this brilliant gospel phenomenon has conquered the metropolises of America and Europe: more than 2.5 million people have so far enthusiastically celebrated the annual R&B, jazz and pop-inspired shows of the world's most important gospel formation.
