THE LARRY FULLER TRIO - A TRIBUTE TO RAY BROWN

Since his tour with Ray Brown in the early 2000s, American pianist Larry Fuller has earned a reputation as one of the most swinging pianists on the scene. Sponsored by Yamaha, Fuller honed his craft the "old-fashioned way" - on stage in legendary ensembles: Ray Brown Trio, Jeff Hamilton Trio, John Pizzarelli Quartet and as musical director/pianist for Ernestine Anderson.

In honor of Ray Brown's 100th birthday, the New York-based Larry Fuller Trio will perform a special tribute to Fuller's mentor and former boss, featuring arrangements that Fuller himself played in Brown's trio. You can look forward to a super-swinging program performed by a true jazz piano monster.

The trio will be joined by Lorin Cohen on bass (Monty Alexander Trio) and Carmen Intorre Jr. on drums (Joey DeFrancesco).
