Jawu, a young mother in a floating slum in La- gos, discovers a secret sum of money destined for a real estate project that threatens her home. Chosen by the spirit of the warrior king Egbaezen, she must overcome isolation and temptation and become a voice of the community facing destruction. Inspired by real-life forced evictions in Lagos, the film tells of loss, resistance and the power of collective hope. Created as a project by a collective of directors with the active participation of the affected communities, it is at once an anthem, a call to arms and a document about a city in transition.

Inspired by real forced evictions in Lagos, the film tells of loss, resistance, and collective hope. Created by a directors' collective with the active participation of affected com- munities, it is both hymn and battle cry - a testament to resilience in a city under relentless change.
