Hardly any other filmmaker has worked with so many legendary actors and actresses and at the same time produced masterpieces at such a high frequency as Martin Scorsese.

That's why we're taking the time this fall and winter to explore this man's deeply impressive filmography with you. From the boxing ring to the streets of New York, from eerie islands to the spheres of stockbrokers... he's taken us everywhere and shown us the dark side of the world. And was damn cool doing it.

Programmer Paul Hackett is a real unlucky guy. After he has a nice chat in a café with Marcy Franklin, a woman he has never met before, she gives him the phone number of her friend Kiki Bridges, a talented sculptor, with whom Paul arranges a meeting.

But when he makes his way to Kiki's studio that very night, a never-ending series of misadventures begins that slowly but surely turns into a real nightmare.

During the cab ride, his last twenty dollar bill is blown out of the window so he can't pay for the ride, his date with Kiki and Marcy ends in disaster and finally he ends up inside a plaster sculpture...
