Many people are familiar with cable cars from skiing vacations - but they have also long been used in cities around the world to get people to their destinations quickly, in an environmentally friendly way and without traffic jams. In this highly visual and entertaining keynote speech, Wolfram Auer from Doppelmayr shows how modern ropeway systems function as part of multimodal mobility concepts - from Latin America to Europe.
