A reimagining of the 1989 film "The War of the Roses" with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner and loosely based on the 1981 novel by Warren Adler, this satirical black comedy is directed by comedy mastermind Jay Roach ("Austin Powers", "Meet the Parents", "Dinner for Shmucks") and follows married couple Ivy (Colman; "The Favourite", "Wicked Little Letters") and Theo (Cumberbatch; "The Imitation Game", "Dr. Stranger"), whose life together seems easy and picture-perfect: successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing - as Theo's career nosedives while Ivy's own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites.
