And suddenly 30 years have passed since The Slapstickers took off as an up-and-coming cabaret band. Full of passion for offbeats, catchy melodies and exciting harmonies. Nothing has changed at all to this day. However, the band has long since fulfilled their dreams from back then: Countless festival and club shows, gigs with Madness and The Skatalites, numerous studio albums, a live album and a big band album and, most recently, contributions to the legendary "Ska... Ska... Skandal!" -sampler and a tribute compilation for The Hotknives. But it was time for a new album, which was released to mark the band's 30th anniversary: with the impetuous punch of 1995, but well matured, sometimes gentle and thoughtful - just like a silverback. That's The Slapstickers with their new album "Silverback".
