THE STIFF plays THE SPLIFF RADIO SHOW

The SPLIFF RADIO SHOW was one of THE rock music events of the early 1980s in Germany. Just in time for the 45th anniversary of this masterpiece, the band STIFF is bringing the Spliff Radio Show back to the clubs!

SPLIFF, who emerged from the legendary Nina Hagen Band, processed their experiences with the major music business on this concept album and showed the range of their immense musical skills on this timeless record. The Berlin band, who wrote a piece of German rock history with their debut album "Nina Hagen Band" and later celebrated chart success with hits such as "Carbonara" and "Deja Vu", delivered a concept album with RADIO SHOW that is still considered one of the best German rock albums of all time by music fans today.

THE STIFF have therefore set themselves the goal of bringing this masterpiece back to the stage.

STIFF are no strangers either. With Michael "Hoppla Benito" Kernbach and Wolfgang "Torbjörn Beatoff" Zähringer, two musicians from the success story "Guildo Horn und die orthopädischen Strümpfe" are on board, who were awarded the VIVA Comet as the best German live band at the time. Singer Anke Beuth is one of the most prominent voices of the German rock and pop scene of the last 25 years. With Uwe Reinhard aka Jimi Berlin, a top frontman of the local indie scene takes on the role of Rocko J. Fonzo. Completed by keyboarder Thomas Jung (Frank Out!) and guitarist and musical director Christoph "Junior" Haupers, STIFF perform the complete album as well as a "Best Of" of Nina Hagen and German-language Spliff songs.
