The Thing are coming to Germany in December for shows in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich!

On August 6th, they released their self-titled third album, on their own label Onion Records. With a raw and turbulent collection of twelve songs that include references to everyone from The Kinks to The White Stripes, The Thing sounds like old New York, revitalized and remixed. "It showcases all of us, all of our different personalities," says bassist/vocalist Zane Acord. "In The Thing, we're a collective band. We hang our hats on being a true band - where we all have the spotlight." The album follows their debut "Here's the Thing" from 2023 and "The Things Is", which was released in 2024.

The New York-based band consists of Jack Bradley (guitarist/vocalist), Zane Acord (bassist/vocalist), Michael Carter (guitarist/vocals) and Lucas Ebeling (drums).
