A collection of unheard stories

PERFORMANCE WITH OBJECT AND MATERIAL THEATER

What makes the Red Queen from "Alice in Wonderland" behead so many subjects? How would Aladdin's carpet tell its version of the story if we had a common language? And what social constraints are Cinderella's wicked stepsisters subject to when they are forced to style their heels?

In this production, young people use object and material theater to look at characters whose fates we either know little about or whose narratives should finally be rewritten or at least put in the right light. Which stories do we tell ourselves and which do we not? Who or what remains unheard in our society? And where is the space in which we are heard?

The Theaterakademie is a division of the tjg. theater junge generation Dresden with young people aged 14 to 17.
