SAGURU
Indie-Folk, Indie-Pop, Electronica | Munich
The beginning of the day. The light, the fall, the depth: SAGURU writes songs that have great expansiveness. They carry the melancholy darkness, but always also the new beginnings, the outlook, the clarity and lightness. The moment after the rain.
Munich-based Chris Rappel founded SAGURU in 2016, was inspired by heroes such as Alex Turner, Bon Iver and Ben Howard and released his first songs. A voice that radiates many more years of life than Rappel can count. The precisely crafted and colorful sound of the recordings, the combination of guitar, radiant vocals and gentle yet powerful electronica: all this makes SAGURU a gem, a treasure chest.
Breaking through routines, learning to deal with the growing alienation, moods in a state of suspension, the vastness, running as an escape: themes and images of SAGURU. Themes and images with urgency. The gathering fog in the forest at the beginning of the day. The light, the fall, the depth. (Source: artist)

HANNA SIKASA
Soul, Pop, Jazz, R'n'B | Augsburg
HANNA SIKASA prefers to surround herself with a big band. Three-part choirs, Wurlitzer, guitar, cello, flugelhorn, trumpet, double bass and drums provide the warm, full sound of the band.
Their English-language songs are sometimes poetic miniatures with scope for personal interpretation, sometimes pleas for the freedom to develop as an Afro-German woman in this world or tell of survival in the music business as an artist with children. When HANNA SIKASA is not on stage with her music, she devotes herself to her other passion - working with choirs. (Source: artist)
