With MIRABELLE, percussionist and composer Thomas Sauerborn brings together five independent voices that form an unmistakable sound collective when they meet. The special instrumentation with two trombones significantly shapes the sound of the band. The proximity of the trombone to the human voice and the emotional nuances that arise from this give the music a touching depth. The quintet is his latest formation - an open network of energy, precision and shared sound alchemy.
