Thorsten Nagelschmidt and Lambert invite you to a Christmas revue with their new album - an evening full of beats, piano capers and abysmal lyrics.
On February 19, pianist Lambert will be playing a concert with his trio in the large hall at Kampnagel; before that, he will be celebrating a somewhat different Christmas together with Thorsten Nagelschmidt. As the frontman of the band Muff Potter, Nagelschmidt is a successful musician himself and has also published seven books since 2007. His latest work, "Nur für Mitglieder" (März Verlag), is an autobiographical account of his attempt to escape Christmas depression in an all-inclusive hotel on Gran Canaria with a "Sopranos" binge. This humorous exploration of his own abysses has now resulted in an album of the same name (Clouds Hill Records) - in collaboration with Lambert. Now they are both going on a pre-Christmas anti-depression tour and presenting "Nur für Mitglieder" in a unique revue of text, images and music. Probably the most abysmal Christmas party of the year.
