Tim Adieu "Chansons against the frost in the heart"

As part of the exhibition "Of Mighty Winds and Downy Flakes", Tim Adieu sings ballads against the frost in our hearts. Melancholy is the core competence here - Adieu unironically ponders the grievances of our oh-so-individualized times: love, great feelings, missed opportunities - who cares, we're all sad and sometimes he has to interrupt concerts to cry for a moment or smoke two.

The name of his first LP "Weine nur mein Herz" ("Cry only my heart") says it all and regularly brings the genres of pop, ballad and disco to top form. He may just be a young man, disappointed beyond measure by promises of youth and love, but this singer connects heart and soul with his melodies, and comforts us with the certainty that at least we are not completely alone in our loneliness.
