He knows the world of numbers - and the Schwanen stage. Timm Sigg, winner of the Baden-Württemberg Kleinkunstpreis 2025, returns to the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen on Saturday, September 26, 2026 with his new musical cabaret "Die formelhafte Welt des Mathé-Profs". For him, this is more than just a guest performance: It was here, in the Schwanen's Luna Bar, that the mathematician stood on a stage for the very first time years ago at one of the legendary open stages - spontaneous, nervous, curious.

What began as an experiment at the time became the start of an artistic journey that has since taken him to major venues and won him numerous awards. Now - with his third stage program - he returns to where it all began and tells of the big and small paradoxes of life: mathematically precise, musically playful and wonderfully self-ironic.

Between grand pianos and formulas, Sigg unfolds a cosmos of everyday absurdities - from Pythagoras to punk, from love songs to logarithms. His mixture of musical cabaret, scientific parody and self-irony transforms equations into stories and numbers into melodies. He explains how he got into mathematics, what it's better not to tell your wife, where Stuttgart 21 got its name from - and why even math buffs might love the "most beautiful formula in the world".
With fine powers of observation and dry humor, Sigg proves that mathematics doesn't have to be dry - but is full of music, surprises and humanity. In his programs, head cinema meets timbre, evidence meets gut feeling. This is how logic becomes the art of living.

The program premiered in May 2026 at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart, now the Remstal premiere follows - full of ingenuity, rhythm and charm.
