"Food is not just a source of energy. Food is about family, about community, about identity. We nourish all these things when we eat well."
This is what the US journalist and author Michael Pollan wrote in his book In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto. In our participatory panel "Table Talks", visitors gather under various imaginary hats around bar tables to eat together. How much of our identity is being an artist or art promoter, organizer and/or visitor - or even a Ringlokschuppen veteran? How do we view the terrifying developments in our society(s)? What utopias do we need to develop? The space is alive, constantly reforming, and each new round brings different exchanges and surprising encounters. Everyone decides for themselves how actively they want to contribute, moderate, listen or discuss. The personal meets the political - over good food.
