When the magic seems lost: To Athena sings of healing and hope

Queen on the cassette deck, Kate Bush and Mani Matter discussing poetry - and somewhere in between, a child sings the second voice to the cassette. This is roughly how you could imagine To Athena 's musical childhood. It's not entirely fictional: growing up in a family of violin makers and influenced by the 80s hits of her father, a former DJ, she developed a keen sense for melodies, dramaturgy and big emotions at an early age.

With Have I Lost My Magic?, To Athena released her third studio album in 2026 - a personal, courageous and musically diverse work. Created together with producer Linus Gmünder, the album combines introspective lyrics with a warm, expansive sound aesthetic. Harp, strings and band characterize the sound and also accompany To Athena live on stage.

The concerts invite you to pause, to be touched and to find new hope together and heal what seemed to be broken.

Musically, Have I Lost My Magic? opens up new worlds: Echoes of Queen, The Beatles, Stromae and old fairy tales merge into an independent sound language with a nostalgic undertone. Singles such as "Weird Kid", "Dänke" and "Collide" have already met with a great response - also internationally, including in Turkey and Mexico, where To Athena played five sold-out concerts in early 2026.
