Tonies Tag im Kunstpalast Düsseldorf

On Sunday, February 8, 2026, the Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf will be a little livelier than usual: the Tonies will be guests and invite children and their families to a special day of discovery in the museum.

With the Toniebox 2 in hand, little art fans will join Rhino Nele and her friends on a journey of listening and discovery through the collection. The Toniebox can be borrowed free of charge at the ticket desk and accompanies children through the museum with short stories about selected works of art.

A special highlight of the day are the open creative workshops for children aged 4 and over, where they can paint, craft and invent: from designing their own creative Tonies to creating small works of art. A tonies wheel of fortune with small prizes also awaits visitors.

Another highlight: in the exhibition "The secret power of scents", children can meet a life-size Tonie in person.

The family program runs from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission and participation in the workshops are free of charge for children and young people up to the age of 18; adults pay 13 euros.
