Töpfern : Mach deine eigene Butter Glocke

Duration: 3.5 hours on one date

Level: For participants with some experience on the wheel

In this compact evening course, you will create your own French butter bell on the wheel - classic, functional and with a personal touch.

You will turn both the bell and the matching base and learn how to coordinate the two shapes. We show you what is important when it comes to lid proportion, wall thickness and function.

If time allows, you can make several butter bells. Depending on your speed and design, you can add a handle or small decorations to your pieces.

After the course, we will dry and fire your pieces. About four weeks later, you can glaze them yourself during a separate glazing session.

3.5 hours in one day + 1.5 hour glazing workshop. The course costs €195 per person.
