Töpfern: Make Your Own Becher Set

Duration: 6 hours on 2 days: Wed + Thu, 10.09. + 11.09., each at 18:00 hrs.
Costs: 280 € (incl. glazing appointment)
Participants: Maximum 6 people
Level: For participants with some experience on the wheel

In this two-part course, you will create your own mug set - just the way you like it: whether coffee or tea mug, with or without saucer, perhaps even complemented by a small jug or sugar bowl.

On the first day, the focus is on turning the basic shapes on the wheel: mugs, small plates, small vessels if necessary. You will learn how to create harmonious proportions and build up your set in a functional and coherent way.

The second day is all about the finishing touches: you turn your pieces, add handles if necessary or continue working on new shapes. The focus is also on details, transitions and surface finishing.

Your pieces are then bisque fired. You can choose and apply the glaze yourself at a separate appointment around 4-5 weeks later.

6 hours over 2 days + 1.5 hour glaze workshop. The course costs 280€ per person.
