Licia Missori presents a new piano concerto whose bold ambition is to break down the barriers between genres and remind us of the unifying power of music. This power relates not only to our connection with others, but above all to our connection with ourselves, our being and our emotions. Missori is an extremely versatile personality on the international music scene. Born in Rome, Italy, with a classical education, she has embraced all musical influences and explored a wide variety of genres. She even composed music for video games and wrote the first book on the subject in Italy.

The meaning of her artistic journey lies in the essence of music: the element that can unite people in a time of increasing individualism and great division. Music is one, like the spirit of the world, and the many genres are just the different forms it can take. Hence the need to create a fluid, free and inviting concert where it is natural to flow from David Bowie to Chopin.
