It's finally kale season again! This Westphalian classic is even better when you can enjoy it in good company. We have turned it into a beautiful tradition and celebrate the kale dinner year after year in a festive atmosphere.

The historic ballroom in the Freischütz provides the perfect setting for this traditional event. Take a seat at long tables and enjoy our hearty kale with crispy fried potatoes, hearty smoked pork loin, original Schnettlers Mettwurst sausage and Schwerter mustard. There will also be cold drinks, music and, of course, the legendary kale poem.

Afterwards we end the evening comfortably at the bar of the Waldschänke.

Included in the ticket price:

• Drinks (beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks) from 7 to 10 pm

Vegan alternative:

Sauerbraten of rutabaga with sweet potato puree and raisin-almond root vegetables

Admission from 7 p.m., start at 7:45 p.m., from approx. 10 p.m. finish in the Waldschänke.
