In "Travelogue I - Twenty to eight", the kitchen becomes the stage for a wild, painful and absurd everyday life. Refrigerator, table and doors become play partners, while five characters are entangled in neurotic routines, silent longings and grotesque conflicts.

With humor, poignancy and sensuality, Sasha Waltz paints a picture of the present that has lost none of its explosive power since its premiere in 1993. Dance, theater and the live music of the Tristan Honsinger Quintet merge into an expressive, rhythmic snapshot of human coexistence in which loneliness, desire and comic absurdity overlap.
