Alternative / indie rock concert at KESSELHAUS

The year 2025 was a turning point - for better or worse - for Antwerp-based band Triggerfinger, whose career has now spanned 25 years. Last fall - just a few days after the band released their first new song since 2017, "Stars" - their legendary bassist Monsieur Paul tragically passed away. Although he had already left the band, he had remained a close friend of the remaining Mario Goossens (drums) and Ruben Block (guitar and vocals). "Stars" was well received by both old and new fans and opened new doors. The band returned to the international stage and played sold-out shows everywhere.
While "Stars" showed an obvious connection to Triggerfinger's earlier repertoire, the second single "Come Clean" (released in January 2026) may have surprised friends and foes alike with a new sound, heralding a change in the band's musical DNA.
Now, this September, a long-awaited new studio album will finally be released, the first since "Colossus" from 2017, and thus the first official album without Monsieur Paul. Live on stage, Block and Goossens are now joined by the equally first-class Geoffrey Burton on bass, who has played with great musicians such as Grace Jones, Iggy Pop and Misia.
