With what is probably the most famous operatic chord, Richard Wagner shattered tonality in "Tristan und Isolde" in 1865 and opened the door to the unknown. This music makes its audience feverish with the forbidden love between Isolde and Tristan and finally "drown in the breath of the world" with Isolde. The highly acclaimed production by star director Tiago Rodrigues is led by two dancers, who open up the eventful history of the Tristan myth in a huge archive.
The title roles are played by Ric Furman and Carla Filipcic Holm, who particularly shine in Wagner roles at competitions and on the major stages of Europe, North and South America.
