Flea market in the Gysenberg district park - where history meets the joy of discovery

For more than 45 years, the flea and collectors' market in Gysenberg Park has been a permanent meeting place for bargain hunters, collectors and nature lovers. What began as a small market tradition has developed into a lively crowd-puller that attracts thousands of visitors every month and is one of the most traditional markets in the whole of Germany.

Unlike the gray department store parking lots, you can expect a very special atmosphere here: The park's main promenade, which is around 700 meters long and lined with trees and extensive meadows, provides a picturesque backdrop for up to 130 exhibitors. Side paths and small squares invite you to take a leisurely stroll - everyone is guaranteed to find their favorite spot here. Between March and November, the market usually takes place on the first Sunday of each month, organized by the park management together with EXPO Event.

The range of goods on offer is impressively diverse: antiques, vintage fashion, collectibles, household classics and much more are just waiting to be discovered. The exhibitors not only bring their wares with them, but also their expertise and personal stories. Along the promenade, small snack stands and cafés with both savory and sweet delicacies invite you to linger - the perfect opportunity to enjoy the hustle and bustle in peace and quiet.

The whole family is also well catered for: while the little ones let off steam with games and hands-on activities, adults can listen to live music or take part in guided tours of the park. The flea market in Gysenberg Park is more than just a market - it is a place where memories are made, treasures find a new home and people of all ages come together.
