Tschüss Gas? Wärmeversorgung im Wandel

In the organizer's words:

Almost 40 percent of homes in Baden-Württemberg were heated with natural gas in 2022. In Lörrach, the proportion could soon be significantly lower: The town is planning to greatly expand its heating networks. It should be possible to switch almost everywhere in the future.

How do citizens experience the heating transition? What is behind the conversion? What impact will it have on their wallets and the municipal coffers? Do Lörrach's gas networks still have a future? And how is the transition going in the neighboring city of Basel, which wants to phase out gas by 2037?
