TURLEY Fest

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the municipal development company MWSP once again invites you to the big TURLEY festival on the green meadow in the middle of the neighborhood. From 2 pm to 7 pm, Turleyplatz will become a lively stage for music, dance, encounters and community for the seventh time - open to all neighbors, residents and guests from all over Mannheim.

Against the impressive backdrop of historic barracks buildings and old chestnut trees, visitors can look forward to a varied stage program. After a welcome by the MWSP, the Younity Project from Kulturhaus Käfertal will open the program. TV Käfertal will then present a karate show before the Reverles Dance Crew from the neighboring Herzogenried youth center show off their dancing skills.

Music from the TURLEY quarter will be provided by the Myfishband, who will delight the audience with rock and pop songs. The GIO Dancestudio will then impress with various dance performances. The 12-piece band The Shades of Soul will provide the musical highlight from 6 p.m., having already caused a sensation last year with their rousing soul revue.

In addition to the stage, the festival also offers plenty of culinary delights: numerous catering stands, including the Theodor-Fliedner-Haus from the neighborhood, will provide for your physical well-being. In addition, various local initiatives present themselves with hands-on activities for all generations - including the daycare center "Die kleinen Stromer" and the Johannes-Diakonie. The MWSP will be providing information about current developments in the neighborhood at its own stand.

Visitors to the festival are recommended to travel by public transport or bicycle.
