The vacation idyll seems perfect. But the water level of the bathing lake drops while the temperatures rise. The regulars ignore this and indulge in their vacation. Ava, who has arrived as a journalist for research purposes, has a less sentimental view of the weather conditions, while the interpersonal relationships between the guests themselves cause quite a stir. The meteorological phenomena soon attract national attention and the Chancellor promises solutions. At the latest when corpses appear at the bottom of the lake, even the last people's blood freezes in their veins. Theresa Thomasberger gets to the bottom of this ludicrous play.
