This exhibition brings together three contemporary artists whose works activate dialogs between body, territory and memory:
María del Mar Salinas (Mexico)
Antje Tiebec (Germany/Mexico)
Susana (SDONIS) (Guatemala)

Through installations, photography, performance and sound, the exhibition draws sensitive cartographies in which the intimate and the collective are set in motion. UMBRAL presents itself as a space of emotional resonance between artistic forms of expression and lived experiences of migration.
The opening includes a performance and live music by the sound collective AMANKAY, which combines Latin American roots with contemporary sound research. There will also be a conversation with the artists to share the processes, territories and emotions behind each work.
We cordially invite the Latin American community in Hamburg-Germany, the German public and all those interested in art to experience art as an intercultural process.
