OUTSIDE & INSIDE with NIGHTBIRD & MÄKKELÄ

Two extraordinary voices from the North return to the stage of the Rocket Club: Nightbird and Mäkkelä - united by their passion for profound songs between folk noir, blues and Nordic melancholy.

After acclaimed concerts in Germany, Scandinavia and the entire DACH region, the two singer/songwriters are going on tour together again in November 2025 - intense, honest and touching.

NIGHTBIRD
The Swedish-Finnish musician Anna-Stina Jungerstam, alias Nightbird, manages to silence entire rooms with her fragile slide guitar and her beguilingly warm voice. Her songs sound like longing, loneliness and vast landscapes - like a walk through the twilight of the north.

MÄKKELÄ
Finnish songwriter Mäkkelä stands for raw, poetic folk noir with an intense stage presence. His music tells stories of departure, pain and hope - somewhere between Joe Strummer, Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits.

An evening for everyone who wants to feel music - deep, genuine and uncompromising.
