UNIDRAM 2025: Fekete Seretlek & Studio Damúza

EXIT (German premiere)
Object theater concert

Welcome aboard. "EXIT" is based on fragments from fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen, such as the future story "In a Thousand Years", in which he prophesies the invention of the airplane. However, the flying machine here is rebellious and does what it wants. En passant, we encounter a mayfly ranting about the transience of life, an animated moon and quarrelsome flowers. This air show is chaotic, with puppetry and object theater alternating with light and shadow play, accompanied by the sounds of various objects that dominate the live folk and electro music of the piece like parts of an orchestra.

Fekete Seretlek & Studio Damúza (Czech Republic)

Fekete Seretlek combines motifs from world music with object theater to create his own unmistakable theatrical creations. The Czech ensemble began staging a kind of musical-theatrical folk theater as a trio in 2004 and has since performed at various music and theater festivals throughout Europe. The group now consists of six musicians and actors, all of whom are graduates of the Prague Theater Academy (DAMU). They work closely with the production company Studio Damúza, which specializes in supporting DAMU students and graduates.
