KAIDAN - Ghost Story II is an 18+ Halloween matsuri in Mainz that immerses visitors in a world inspired by Japanese horror stories. The fair combines cosplay, Japanese fashion, erotic and fetish elements, street food, a stage program and interactive attractions. The target group is adult fans of Japanese culture, horror aesthetics and erotic subcultures.

November 8 and 9, 2025 in Hall 45 in Mainz.

When the exhibition halls close, things really get going for us! Immerse yourself in a night full of beats, shows and extravagance - in the middle of Mainz.

🔥 Dress code short and sweet:
As a Kaidan trade fair visitor - feel free to come in your favorite outfits. Cosplay is welcome, kinky outfits, even horror elements are welcome - even in wild combinations. Come in the way you felt comfortable at the con. It's your afterparty! 🔥
External guests: go all out! The Kaidan visitors are doing well.

🔥 Dress code detailed:
We love creativity and expression! Cosplay outfits, fetish looks or an exciting combination of both are welcome.
Whether it's an anime character in latex, horror cosplay with vinyl accessories or fetish fashion with Japanese influences - there's room for your imagination here.
Allowed & desired:
* Cosplay (anime, manga, video games, horror, J-horror)
* Fetish styles (leather, latex, vinyl, mesh, harness, corsets, drag, glitter etc.)
* Mixtures of cosplay & fetish (e.g. character in fetish interpretation)
* Creative own creations that fit thematically to horror, eroticism or Japanese aesthetics
* We love self-made outfits. Be creative.
* Dress to impress
Please do not:
* Everyday clothes without reference (jeans + T-shirt)
* "Normal" party outfits without cosplay fetish or horror elements
👉 The aim is to create a visual world together that explores boundaries and brings new aesthetics to life.

As visitors to Kaidan, we have a somewhat relaxed dress code - after all, it's your afterparty! But we know that you put a lot of love and effort into your outfits anyway.
