Lucky Luke celebrates his 80th birthday in 2026, making him the oldest and longest-lived comic cowboy in the world✨ The schauraum: comic + cartoon is leading the congratulatory charge with this exhibition and will be celebrating the anniversary year from November 2025🎉 Exclusively with original comic pages (ink on paper): "Das Artwork"!

The exhibition presents rare original pages, drawings, archive material and first publications from 1946 to the present day in the rooms directly opposite Dortmund Central Station. Particularly noteworthy are the original pages by Morris (i.e. Maurice De Bevere, 1923-2001, illustrator) and René Goscinny (1926-1977, lyricist) from the 1950s and 1960s. This was not possible during the lifetime of the illustrator and his wife/widow because Morris never let a page out of the house. Today's community of heirs is a little less strict, so that around two dozen pages have been in the possession of private collectors for a year now.

Following the opening speeches and the introduction by curator Dr. Alexander Braun, the exhibition can be visited in the showroom:)
