URBAN GAMBLING – Street Art Show by NEAL X JEFF GILLETTE

ARE YOU READY TO GAMBLE?

When street artist NEAL exhibits, it's not just a classic exhibition, but a happening; more precisely, an urban gambling event where you can play and participate. Hamburg's best-known street artist and action artist is exhibiting at the Urbanshit Gallery in September under the title URBAN GAMBLING. He will be receiving prominent support from the USA.

If there is one artist in the city who can be described as "Hamburg's Banksy", then it would definitely be NEAL. The artist has been active on the streets for over a decade without anyone ever seeing him. His artworks appear unasked overnight and usually attract a lot of attention. Starting out with simple stencil graffiti, NEAL has long since developed into an established artist who blurs the line between street art and action art. With his art, he turns the whole city into one big exhibition and plays with public space like no other. In doing so, he skillfully and wittily plays with social issues or uses his art to generate attention for a good cause.

NEAL will be back at the URBANSHIT GALLERY in September, with an extensive exhibition, many new motifs and a new mission: Let's Gamble. Under the title URBAN GAMBLING, visitors can expect to see lots of original works by the artist, created either alone or with his partner in crime, US artist Jeff Gillette. Gillette, in turn, has already worked hand-in-hand with the well-known artist Banksy.

On the evening of the vernissage, there will be an opportunity to win genuine NEAL artworks. There will be gambling for a good cause and visitors will have the chance to win original works of art by the artist. The proceeds will be donated.
