A musical evening with stories from Latin America | A participatory theater project with Latinas and Latinos from Saarbrücken

Cecilia Paladines knowswhat it means to live between two worlds. Born in Ecuador, "in the middle of the jungle", as she says, she left her country at the age of 18 - not entirely voluntarily. Life led her to Germany: today she is an entrepreneur, language mediator and theater maker. Her heart beats for Ecuador, the land of eternal spring, but also for what she has built up here. Today she knows that her first difficult experiences in a new country have given her her own personal springtime: she can always blossom anew, no matter where she is.

Now she is opening her heart at the Saarländisches Staatstheater: in Vamos, Corazón - mein Herz ist unterwegs, she tells stories of departure, longing and identity with Latinas and Latinos from Saarbrücken. The stage becomes a meeting point for cultures, a place where memories come alive and new connections are made.

A Latin American combo provides rhythms that go straight to the heart and legs. Vamos, Corazón invites everyone to let themselves be carried away by music and stories.
