We will be in and around Saarbrücken Castle throughout the weekend. The Swing Pavilion is our central meeting point and is located on the Schlossplatz (open all day Saturday and Sunday). We have a dance floor where you can dance to the best swing music all day long. You can also find out more about the festival, the Lindy Hop dance, bicycles, swing and bicycle history and the music in a cozy atmosphere.

While the new vintage area on the lower part of the Schlossplatz invites you to browse and play, numerous activities and offers attract young and old to the upper part around the Velo-Swing Pavilion. There - on the Cour d'honneur - a colorful hustle and bustle is the order of the day.

The centerpiece is the outdoor dance floor with lots of dancers and grooving swing music. On Saturdays and Sundays, people swing here all day so that no shirt stays dry... You can also sit down on the dance floor and watch, learn about the dance and the music, find out about the swing dance culture and the Lindy Hop Saarbrücken dance scene and exchange ideas. Here you can even learn the dance directly in small taster lessons.
There will also be cycling fun for young and old on Saturdays and Sundays: the German Bicycle Museum will be offering its fun bikes for you to try out - two penny-farthings will also be on display!

The fun bike course at the German Bicycle Museum Bad Brückenau has been part of the Velo-Swing Festival program from the very beginning. Young and old cyclists can test their skills here. For example, on a bike with an off-center suspension that hops across the Schlossplatz like a stubborn pony. Or on a tandem where the partners sit next to each other rather than behind each other. Adults can take a spin around the Schlossplatz on a real penny-farthing.

And if you want to let off steam creatively yourself, you can design your own individual souvenir of the festival. We also have our own highlight for our little ones . Our little ones can paint pictures together with our master painter Mootz and make their own Velo-Swing mask. At our spray booth, we will provide you with various textile paints for spraying, stencils with elements matching the Velo-Swing Festival as well as shirts, bags and rucksacks. You can also bring your own textiles and design them on site.

Of course, our food trucks will take care of your physical well-being! Around the pavilion you will find the best food and drink to enjoy the flair of the festival to the full. We have cooperations with Comame with the tastiest café, Vegan Food Truck, Tuni Snack, ice cream from Henrys, drinks from Lindy Hop Saarbrücken and on Sunday there will be pizza from Aperia.
