A Christmas adventure in Frankfurt - a funny Christmas story to read aloud
Be there when comedy author Boris Meinzer reads from the regional children's book and at the same time get active yourself with the live drawing with illustrator Sylvain Mérot!

A woodpecker that can talk? That's not even possible! And he wants to be Santa's helper too? You wouldn't believe it! But that's exactly how the story begins in the middle of Frankfurt's city forest. Little by little, the woodpecker and Santa Claus become a really great team and distribute presents for the children together. It's not that easy - the two of them have to go through quite a few adventures. And what do you learn from this? That it's always good when big and small want to make a difference together!

Information about the author Boris Meinzer:
Boris Meinzer is a comedian, freelance comedy writer and producer. Since 2016, he has also been on the road with a full-length comedy program with the FFH-Dummfrager. With "Specht Ruprecht" he has now written his first children's book.

Information about the illustrator Sylvain Mérot:
Sylvain Mérot, born in 1976 in the French port city of Nantes, studied industrial design and worked as a graphic designer in Paris and Lisbon. He has been a freelance illustrator since 2004 and runs a gallery, Galeria Pequena, in Frankfurt am Main. Influenced by the comics of his childhood, his illustrations are characterized by feather-light strokes, whimsical stories, wit, black humour and comic-like figures.
