The performance of the play "In love, engaged ... and then?" is unfortunately canceled - only no one has informed the audience! And so the audience is sitting in the auditorium full of expectation when the cleaning lady Maria Rosemann bursts into the room, unsuspecting and singing happily.

There she is, together with her husband, the janitor Rainer, in the spotlight. What to do? They take the only logical solution: after some experience in school auditoriums and community halls, they storm the big stage and play out their own story! From their first meeting at the bus stop to embarrassing parties, stadium cheers and romantic misunderstandings to the small and big differences in their memories of "the first night" - everything is brought to the stage in an uninhibited, humorous and musical way.

In addition to their own experiences, they also include well-known pop songs as well as well-known dialogs from world literature. With charming improvisations, this evening is a declaration of love to love itself - with all its highs, lows and tears of laughter.

By the way:

"In love, engaged... and then?" catapults the audience right into the middle of the normal madness of a long-term marriage, with everything that the topic of "love" has to offer. Between Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" and Tucholsky's "A married couple tells a joke", there is plenty of room for songs by Elvis, Tom Jones, Freddy Quinn, Münchner Freiheit and Wolfgang Petry - because this evening will be absolute "madness"!
