The exhibition shows works by the artist Jens Brückmann that focus on questions of meaning and identity. Thematically, Brückmann deals with processes of transformation, chaos and order, identity and the transitions between emotion and rationality.
Jens Brückmann - himself gay, genderfluid and neurodivergent - understands identity not as a fixed entity, but as a multi-layered, fragmented structure.
His works pick up on this in their formal language: through bold colors, multi-layered structures and an experimental examination of material and surface.
material and surface.
