In the organizer's words:

The vernissage of the "Graphics from Dortmund" competition, which has been running since 1977, invites visitors to celebrate the creative work of Dortmund artists. The competition is organized by Sparkasse Dortmund and Kulturbüro Dortmund, supported by Dortmunder Kunstverein.

After almost five decades, the old exhibition concept and the graphic arts calendar have come to an end. The calendar will be succeeded by the Dortmund Greeting Card Edition. The second edition will be published in 2025 and will be offered for sale as part of the exhibition opening event.

36 artists were selected by a jury for the exhibition at the depot. The six winners of the competition also each designed a greeting card for the 2025 greeting card edition.
