Vernissage | Unstoppable: Women of the World

Behnaz Vassighi has been organizing exhibitions for International Women's Day at the Kulturladen St. Georg as part of the Hamburg Women's Festival for over 20 years. In previous years, these have been joint exhibitions with artists from different countries presenting their works in painting and photography. This year, too, we are sending out a strong signal on the occasion of International Women's Day with the joint exhibition "Unstoppable:Women of the World". Female artists from different countries present their works and open up diverse perspectives on female strength, creativity and solidarity across cultural boundaries. In painting, photography and other forms of artistic expression, women become visible - courageous, self-determined and powerful. The exhibition focuses on women power, solidarity and the voice of women worldwide.

The vernissage will be accompanied by music from Mairen Hernandez and GOOSINDRA.
The exhibition will be on display until Thursday, April 9, 2026 during café opening hours.
