Véronique Gayot's first album already caused quite a stir. With "ANIMAL", she continues unwaveringly on her own path - rebellious, raw and haunting.
With her emotional blues and classic rock, she leads her listeners into the depths of human emotions, fears and fantasies with her versatile, expressive voice. Her stage presence is a play between seductive magic and power, which the audience is only too happy to follow.
Her style is reminiscent of Anastacia and Janis Joplin. Like them, Véronique Gayot is a woman who has something to say. Her songs oscillate between blues, rock and ballads in the style of the early seventies, without sacrificing modern sounds. Groove-based tracks alternate with heavy, introspective material. A special experience.
She recently had the opportunity to demonstrate her strong live performance on the WDR Rockpalast show on October 16, 2020. With her excellent new fellow musicians (Yannick Eichert/guitar and vocals, Jérôme Spieldenner/drums and Jérôme Wolf/bass), she left an enthusiastic audience on site and online.
