Sarah Košicki is a German/Croatian singer and noise artist. With her sound consisting of dark ambient and folk, and her oppressive themes, she nevertheless transports the listener into a sphere of melancholy and nostalgia.

Graneg Sandpapier A project by Alexis "Schlax" Ludwig

Self-developed synthesizers and experimental effects form the basis of the stage program of Graneg Sandpapier - an artistic figure that has been continuously developed since 2018.

In addition to these devices, he also uses steel cables stretched across the room, which are bowed, and a semi-acoustic guitar played with piano hammers. Accompanied by found objects such as stones, blades of grass or disassembled drum parts, samples are used to create soundscapes reminiscent of machine-like drones or buzzing swarms of insects.

Speech interludes - live or as samples - react to social issues without offering solutions. Everything is improvised, follows recurring patterns and yet remains unique each time.

✨VERSTÄRKER ✨ Very different bands play in this concert series - always on the third Friday of the month. Sometimes they come from the region, sometimes from further afield. Groups and solo musicians who would like to play at Verstärker should get in touch with us. We then curate the evenings in a way that results in a nice and surprising mix for bands and audience. Free admission, a hat goes round - and the bar is open afterwards.
