Vetrarsól 2025 - Ein isländisches Weihnachtserlebnis mit ÁRSTÍÐIR

After the Icelandic band ÁRSTÍÐIR released their album with the popular, traditional Christmas program Vetrarsól in 2024, they are coming to European cities again this year. The tour includes 14 cities in Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland.

Their album "Vetrarsól - Voices of the Winter Sun" was released on November 8, 2024 and recorded at the band's studio in Reykjavík, Iceland.

The band became internationally known in 2013 when a video of their spontaneous performance of the song "Heyr himna smiður" - the oldest known Nordic hymn - went viral on the internet.
